Steve Carpenter attended the Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management School, where he graduated with honors. As a third generation Golf Course Superintendent, Steve prides himself on his upbringing, and ongoing experience in the industry. He is a member of both the State and National Superintendent’s Associations and stays committed to volunteering, and continuing education opportunities. Prior to starting his career at CHCC, he was the Assistant Superintendent at two other Private NJ golf clubs. Steve joined the team at Cedar Hill in 2019 and he transitioned to Greens Superintendent in January 2024. Steve’s “hands-on” leadership approach, and communication skills have helped him become an integral part of the Cedar Hill team. Steve feels it is a great honor to maintain and grow our great golf course. He grew up and resides in Hackettstown, with his wife, Danielle, and their three daughters, Olivia, Chloe, and Kenzie.
